This year's event is being created with the intention of equipping students with practices and thoughts of how to care for themselves, be their own biggest advocate, create a community around them, and a focus on inner strengths to guide individuals to a place of connection and self-compassion.
Our speaker, Crystal Sebastian, holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from UH Manoa. She currently works as the Health & Wellness Coordinator at Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi. Crystal specializes in adolescent mental health and has spent over thirty years dedicated to improving adolescent wellbeing. When asked by a former student if she would be interested in this event, Crystal dropped everything for the opportunity to give back to her very own UH community and we are so fortunate for it!
